Yummy March foods

Garlic Shrimp and Swiss Chard on Polenta - a great way to use up some things from my freezer including frozen whole tomatoes.
Turkey Chili Cobbler - this was DELCIOUS and perfect for the sudden drop in temperatures here in Cinti.
Crisy Parmesan Chickpeas - yummy!  A healthy snack and fun way to eat chickpeas - roasted!
I always have hummus on hand because I make it in bulk and freeze it.  I have been craving Tabouleh lately.  I haven't made it in years but now that I did all I want for lunch is hummus & tabouleh!  :)

Pool time in Sarasota

Our last day in Sarasota and we went to the pool.  Frank showed Lia how to float on a noodle (thanks also to her suit which helps keep her boyant).
 Happy girl!

Right before we left for the airport, we got a family photo!  :)

South Lido!

I LOVE this beach!  It's beautiful and there are trees and a park right next to the sand!

Lia and I built a sandcastle!
And then she stomped on it.

We all had such a nice time here!
Then later Poppi read Lia a book at home.

FRESH squeezed Florida Orange Juice!

This morning, Dad & I picked the last of this season's crop off of his orange tree.
This is just a few of them.
 I juiced them.
Look at the difference between Dad's oranges - and orange juice purchased (in Florida) NOT from concentrate stating "100% Pure Florida Orange Juice".  Which one looks better?!  :)

Time with Popi & Lia

Lia loves Nana & Popi!  After our shower, she always ran out to Nana & Popi.

More Anna Maria

Mom, Dad, Will & Geri met us for lunch!
 Sunset at the beach.

A nightly ritual for us!  Walk across the street and there we were.
We watched this guy being pulled on his "skate board" all the way down the beach.  Looked fun!
