Greek Fest Ride

Every year we go to the Greek Fest, and I've been going since I was in HS.  Now that we have Lia she goes to and enjoys it.  We all LOVE the food, the music, the friends we always run into there, but I personally love to ride the rides.  Thankfully Lia is getting older (and bigger) and can go on some of them with me.  We decided to give the "Tornado" a "thumbs up"! 

Maybe 2 "thumbs up"! 

It was definitely a 2 "thumbs up" kind of ride for us!  We went several times, and the last time the man running it let us on without enough tickets!  SWEET!  :)

My Mosaic Sunflower Table

 I started this project last year - well, the idea of it, and laying out the size of my flower onto a table I had selected.  But this summer I decided to actually complete the design and finsh the project.

This photo shows you the pieces glued down, but no grout. 

Here it is finished, with the grout (notice the 2 different colors) and a new base that Frank put onto the table.  The original base had only 3 legs and I was worried it wasn't strong enough to handle the weight of the glass and the grout.  Now it's perfectly finished with a base that will keep it nice and upright.  :)

The Juice!

We went down to the Sandbar tonight.  True to her form, Lia was the first one out on the dancefloor, with me a close 2nd.  We LOVE this band!

Lia loved hooking up with her friend Jaxon also!
