Jeanne made Mozzarella!

Yep, our kitchen resembled a science experiment !
Here shortly after adding the rennet solution, the curds are forming and and leaving a clear yellow whey (liquid).
Here is the process of draining the whey from the curds.
Ice water bath - soon we will be trying our mozzarella!

Frank said "this is the best cheese ever made" - hmmm and with a glass of wine!

Delicious Local - Pastured - Free Range Eggs!

Check out the egg in the lower left hand corner! Yep, it was a double yoker and it was laid by a meat chicken! Jeanne got these from a gal she met at Red Sun Farm in Loveland, who raises her own chickens, geese, cows, and goats.
Really, have YOU ever eaten eggs with yolks THIS orange? We can tell you for sure these chickens are eating bugs, grubs, worms, etc.!!! Frank's pointing to the big egg with the 2 yolks! Delicious food!!!!
